Kristin E. Rojas, M.D., FACS, FACOG is a fellowshi Kristin E. Rojas, M.D., FACS, FACOG is a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist and board-certified gynecologic surgeon and the Director of the Menopause, Urogenital, Sexual Health and Intimacy (MUSIC) Program at @sylvestercancer, a program for women experiencing sexual dysfunction after cancer treatment. Originally from Texas, she graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed her residency training at Brown University/Women and Infants Hospital followed by a Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) Breast Surgery Fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. She is an academic surgeon and an NCI-funded translational researcher studying the impact of perioperative opioids on the gut microbiome and novel therapeutics in female cancer patient sexual dysfunction. #breastcancer #surgeon #surgonc #research #cancer #cancersurgeon #opioid #womenshealth #gyn
